β οΈ Insurance & 2026 Tips
2026 Tip: UAE rental car insurance law requires basic third-party liability at minimum β this is included in all legitimate rental quotes. However, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) reduces your excess from AED 1,000β5,000 to zero in case of accident. In Dubai's aggressive traffic, CDW is strongly recommended. Many Western credit cards are NOT accepted as CDW substitutes in the UAE β check your bank's specific UAE policy before declining agency CDW.
