Los Angeles to Paris: what to know before you book
LAX–Paris has quietly become one of the cheapest transatlantic routes from the US West Coast because two low-cost long-haul carriers — Norse Atlantic (CDG) and French Bee (Orly) — undercut the Air France/Delta joint venture daily. Sub-$500 round-trips show up outside June–August. French Bee's use of Orly is a hidden bonus: Orly is closer to the Left Bank and southern Paris than CDG, with a straightforward Orlyval/metro link. Air Tahiti Nui also sells the LAX–CDG leg of its Papeete service, often at odd, very low prices.
