Vancouver to Delhi: what to know before you book
Vancouver–Delhi is one of the largest visiting-friends-and-family markets in Canada, and it prices like it: fares spike hard around Diwali, Christmas and summer school holidays, then drop steeply in shoulder months. Air Canada's nonstop (around 14 hours over the pole) carries a premium of CAD $200–400 over one-stops via Hong Kong, Frankfurt or London. Book this route earlier than almost any other — the cheap buckets on peak-season dates are gone 4–6 months out, not 4–8 weeks.
